Biography

Hi! I’m Minghao Yan (in Chinese: 闫明浩), a PhD student in Computer Science at University of Wisconsin–Madison working with Prof. Shivaram Venkataraman. I obtained my B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) and M.S. degrees from Rice University in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

At Rice, I was fortunate to have worked with Prof. Anshumali Shrivastava on large-scale deep learning and similarity search. I am broadly interested in LLMs, including but limited to agents, scaling laws, and efficient systems.
